Lágrimas de Wayronco (2008)

Overview

More than 70,000 dead and missing is the toll of the internal armed conflict that has plagued Peru for over two decades. A corrupt political class, an impunity-ridden armed forces, and a bloody guerrilla war form the backdrop for a documentary that gives voice, above all, to the victims of this barbarity. The narrative traces the pain left in the wake of this power struggle.
