Overview

During WWII, a dashing British RAF Officer is earmarked for a secret mission behind enemy lines in occupied France, but wishing to distract the enemy, enlists a person to double for him and thereby draw attention to North Africa. An unlikely airman is found and tutored in the ways of an English officer.

Mild Wartime comedy as Parker’s intelligence boys come up with a scheme to trick the enemy by finding a double for dashing upper class officer Rix- a toilet cleaning clot (also Rix). Confusion reigns, but little mirth. Rix did a lot of these farces but was no near as adept or inventive as Norman Wisdom, who was the top UK attraction at the time.He had more success with his regular West End productions.
