Snag for them is, they don't want blood on their hands/claws/pincers so they plan to cause ordinary insects and lizards to become giants so they can do their dirty work for them and eat humanity to extinction. It's now a race against time for the sceptical scientists to stop this fiendish plan. Yes it is every bit as bad as it sounds, the effects are poor and there is a serious surfeit of dialogue too.
