This is a movie that lacked direction and decent camera work. When a 17 year old son returns home, his relationship with his father is a bit strained. This is a movie that lacked direction and decent camera work. When a 17 year old son returns home, his relationship with his father is a bit strained. Every single description of this movie said that the father had to examine his views on gays when he finds out his son is gay. That didn't really happen at all. In reality he sees that his son is gay and it doesn't really affect him all that much as he's more concerned that his son is a space-case with no real prospects for being able to support himself in the future. The movie had plot holes, it dragged in spots where nothing was really happening and the camera work was just terrible, I'm not sure what they were thinking with that, but it takes away from the movie.
