This is a truly exceptional film. A man wakes up bloodied on the floor and it is only as he goes about his day like any other that we ultimately find out what has happened. Like many Nordic films, and unlike many American ones, it also has nuance. Not everything is spelled out for the viewer, but if you pay attention you can be pretty sure of what happens.
