With “Yen’s life”, Dir. Dinh Tuan Vu has successfully told a simple yet meaningful visual story about the lives of Vietnamese farmers before and after the 1945 August Revolution with a focus on the fate of Vietnamese women in the old days, their sacrifices and strengths in overcoming difficulties.
