Overview

Old Ma Conway champions statehood for Wyoming, believing the measure would put an end to the territory's lawlessness; but the elderly woman is opposed by cattle buyer and tax assessor Lee Landow and greedy banker Dixon. When Ma offers her opinion in a newspaper article, Landow sends his henchman Ringo to put the fear of God in the woman.

Now you either liked singing in Westerns or you didn't, in my view. Well, with the exception of Dean Martin & Ricky Nelson in "Rio Bravo", I'm in the latter camp so Eddie Dean opening up this cattle rustling, property grabbing tale with the title song and I was already struggling; there were a few more ditties before a reprise of said song at the end - and I was lost!
