This was a mixed bag for me, I liked that older gays were portrayed in a good way, but almost all of the younger ones were very annoying, all over the top typical Hollywood stereotype. The other issue is the plot and character don't match. It's supposed to be a gay guy torn between joining a religious order and living a gay life, but right from the very first scene he shows contemp for the religious career he chose, so it really wasn't any strugg… read the rest.

The other issue is the plot and character don't match. It's supposed to be a gay guy torn between joining a religious order and living a gay life, but right from the very first scene he shows contemp for the religious career he chose, so it really wasn't any struggle and no surprise with the ending either.
