Suddenly, Maria wakes up as the mayor of a small town on the Danube. Surrounded by advisers (men) who try to manipulate her, she soon realizes that all political maneuvers start with the engineer Topolniță.
A classic character film that starts against the corrupt system, but sprinkled with funny remarks about the misogyny that surrounds Maria.
