I thought that this reminded me a bit of an animated version of that Harry Chapin song "Cat's in the Cradle". I thought that this reminded me a bit of an animated version of that Harry Chapin song "Cat's in the Cradle". It starts with a dad taking his young daughter on a bit of a road trip and then over the next five minutes it follows her growing up, growing distant, living her own life and making her own friends - and, of course, that sees the relationship between father and daughter struggle to retain the intensity and joy we saw at the start. Then, many years later, she happens upon the old car they used to take their trips in. Might it still work, and if so - perhaps it's time to remember to start including her dad more? It's a simple enough animation that I found a little too angular, but with a song rather aptly entitled "No Wrong Way Home" accompanying their physical and emotional journies, it conveys it's message well enough.
