A great gathering of British acting talent - Leo Genn, Anthony Steel, David Tomlinson, Stanley Baxter (and his doppelgänger) et al - in this gentle yarn about ingenuity. They want to escape from a POW camp but their tunnels keep getting discovered. Rightio, they declare; let's multi-task. We can get fit and at the same time start our escape tunnel from underneath the pommel horse which we can move to right beside the fence - ergo, a lot less tunn… read the rest.
