Overview
At a secluded summer camp, timid and introverted 12-year-old Morgan is thrust into a waking nightmare when a once-fabled campfire tale becomes real. This is a typical camp slasher movie and it plays itself very well. The characters are engaging, you feel that you know what is going on and what is about to happen, and the twist hits out of left field and still feels completely earned. The ending is impactful and it's just a lovely story overall. The movie is technically proficient, it is well acted and well directed and if you enjoy camp slasher movies you're definitely going to enjoy this one… read the rest.
